Carey Lowell

Carey Lowell ( born February 11, 1961 in Huntington, New York ) is an American actress and a former model.

Life and career

Carey Lowell spent her childhood in large part on trips with her father, an eminent geologist. Immediately after her high school graduation, she was commissioned by the Ford modeling agency under contract. Before they finally moved on to acting career, she worked as a model for clients such as Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein.

At Lowell's notable roles include those of Bond girl Pam Bouvier in the James Bond film Licence to Kill ( 1989) and the Attorney Jamie Ross on the television series Law & Order, a character she also in the spin-off series Law & Order: Trial played by Jury - here as judge Jamie Ross.

Lowell married in 2002 her fellow actor Richard Gere, 2013, the couple separated. The two have a son (* 2000). In her first marriage she was married from 1989 to 1995 with fellow actor Griffin Dunne, with whom she has a daughter.
