The Carhartt Inc. is an American clothing manufacturer.

History

Carhartt was founded in 1889 in the USA by Hamilton Carhartt. Over time, Carhartt has grown by manufacturing durable products become one of the most popular brands for workwear. Initially, the production was limited largely to North America.

In Europe, the brand was divided into two areas. " Carhartt Work Wear " the classic workwear markets on the one in the American model. On the other hand in " Carhartt Work in Progress". The European licensee is also less strongly influenced by the rugged work clothing, but especially appeals to the youthful skaters, BMX and hip- hop scene. So there is in European trend shops mainly T -shirts, baggy jeans to buy sweaters and skateboards.
