BW

The Cariboo River is a right tributary of the Quesnel River in the Cariboo Regional District in the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The Cariboo River rises in the Cariboo Mountains to the southeast of the Bowron Lake Provincial Park. He initially flows west through the hill country. He takes the Isaac River, which flows through the Isaac Lake on right. Then the Cariboo River flows through the lakes Lanezi Lake and Sandy Lake. After that, the river changes its course to the south and takes the Matthew River from the left on and flows through the small lake Kimball Lake. The subsequent section of the river is located in the Cariboo River Provincial Park. The Cariboo River meets the eastern end of the Cariboo Lake, which he leaves again on its western end. The Spanish Creek flows to him from the left. Shortly thereafter, the Cariboo River flows near Quesnel Forks in the Quesnel River. The Cariboo River has a length of about 140 km.
