Carina Vogt
Carina Vogt ( born February 5, 1992, Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German ski jumper. At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014, it was the first olympic discharged Women's Ski Jumping Olympic champion.
Career
Carina Vogt is living in forest Stetten and starts for the SC Degenfeldstrasse. Your first international assignment they had in 2004 Meinerzhagen under a FIS - jumping. At the World Championships 2013 in Val di Fiemme Vogt was in fifth single. When there inaugural mixed- team competition she won at the side of Ulrike Gräßler, Richard Freitag and Severin Freund behind Japan and Austria with the team the bronze medal.
In the 2013/14 season they reached up to the Olympic Games in World Cup competition eight times the second or third place. At the Olympic women's ski jumping competition in Sochi 2014 Vogt was the first Olympic champion in the history of this competition. After her Olympic victory she had to finish the season due to knee problems.
