Carina Vogt

Carina Vogt ( born February 5, 1992, Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German ski jumper. At the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014, it was the first olympic discharged Women's Ski Jumping Olympic champion.

Career

Carina Vogt is living in forest Stetten and starts for the SC Degenfeldstrasse. Your first international assignment they had in 2004 Meinerzhagen under a FIS - jumping. In the 2013/14 season they reached up to the Olympic Games in World Cup competition eight times the second or third place. At the Olympic women's ski jumping competition in Sochi 2014 Vogt was the first Olympic champion in the history of this competition. After her Olympic victory she had to finish the season due to knee problems.
