Carl Bohm

Carl Bohm composed numerous small musical works - up to a number of Opus 330 There are so-called Salon compositions that were probably especially popular in the days before radio and television. His most famous piece " Still as the Night " (Op. 326 No. 27) is a vocal piece with piano accompaniment, which in other processes (such as for choirs ) is present. It was by numerous singers (eg, Rudolf Schock, Fritz Wunderlich (1965 ), Heino (1969 ), Helge Rosvaenge (1981) and James Last (1985)) recorded on vinyl records and CDs. This love song is still sometimes presented as a musical contribution to church weddings.
