Carl Cox

Carl Cox ( born July 29, 1962 in Manchester, England ) is one of the most successful techno DJs and was awarded the title of best DJ in the world by the British magazine DJ Mag, which is awarded under the internationally successful DJs.

Career

Carl Cox grew up with the music of James Brown and Maceo Parker. The funk rhythms influenced him considerably. Early on, he began to experiment with turntables and records. In the late 1970s, the first hip-hop wave came from the United States, Cox got in it, but then switched in the course of 1980 more and more in the field of electronic music and finally to techno.
