Carl-Edgar Jarchow

Carl- Edgar Jarchow ( born March 29, 1955 in Hamburg ) is a German politician ( FDP), football functionary and CEO of Hamburger SV.

Life

Jarchow 's foreign trade businessman, entrepreneur and politician ( FDP, instead of party previously ) in Hamburg. Over the national list of the FDP, he was elected to the 20th Hamburg Parliament in 2011.

Jarchow officiated in the 1990s in the INSTEAD Party as deputy chairman. The FDP he joined in 2007. He was from 2009 to 2011 Deputy Chairman of the FDP Altona district association and was elected on 16 April 2011 for the assessors in the FDP Executive Board.

On 16 March 2011 Jarchow was appointed as successor to Bernd Hoffmann as Acting Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HSV from the Bundesliga club Hamburger SV, whose supervisory board he had already heard from 2001 to 2004. In July 2011, Jarchow extended his contract until 15 March 2013. In May 2012, his contract was prematurely extended until 15 May 2015.
