Carl Fletcher (Welsh footballer)

Carl Neil Fletcher ( born April 7 1980 in Surrey Heath, England) is a Welsh footballer, who was most recently at Plymouth Argyle under contract. The defensive midfielder completed between 2004 and 2009 36 A- international matches for the Welsh national team.

Career

The career of the Welshman began in 1997 with the English club AFC Bournemouth. In 2004, Fletcher moved to West Ham United, where he has been awarded to Watford FC 2005. In the same year he returned to West Ham United. A year later, Fletcher was obliged by his current club Crystal Palace. Since mid-February 2009, he plays for Plymouth Argyle, initially committed permanently only on loan and as of summer 2009. In September 2011, he took over after the departure of manager Peter Reid interim athletic line. On November 1, 2011, he was introduced as the new coach. After the fourth division came in danger of relegation during the 2012/13 season, Fletcher was released on 1 January 2013 in Plymouth.
