Carl Klose

Carl Otto Klose ( born December 5, 1891 in Cochecton, † January 15, 1988 in Toms River) was an American rower.

Carl Klose began in 1916 at the Pennsylvania Barge Club with the rowing, but was pulled after only a very short time to the military and served in the First World War when medical service. Just three months before the Olympic Games in Antwerp in 1920, he again began to row. Together with Kenneth Myers, Franz Schmidt spring, spring Erich Schmidt and Sherman Clark at the helm he won four behind the team from Switzerland the bronze medal.
