Carl Michael von Hausswolff

Carl Michael von Hausswolff ( born 1956 in Linköping, Sweden ) is a musician and artist. He now lives in Stockholm.

He deals extensively with the communication and their expansion and border areas, by including interference that interdependence and interference from radio frequencies, which he faced with architectural structures. Also Oscilloscopes, motion detectors, phones, security cameras and radars are among his musical equipment.

In 1989 he collected to find in the Majdanek concentration camp ashes of Holocaust victims and turned it into a black and white watercolor ago, which he exhibited in Lund.

1991 called the artist together with Leif Elggren as an art project the virtual state Konungarikena Elgaland - Vargaland ( composite of kingdoms Elgaland - Vargaland ( KREV )) from. He is a board member of the Swedish company, founded in 1936 for experimental composition and sound studies, " Fylkingen ". Hausswolff is the operator of his own label Origin and as a curator and visual artist traveling internationally.

Collaborations, inter alia, with Andrew McKenzie ( Hafler Trio), Erik Pauser ( PHAUSS ), David Jackman ( Organum ), Zbigniew Karkowski, Kim Cascone, Tommi Grönlund ( Sahko ).
