Carl Schultz

Carl (originally Karoly ) Schultz ( born September 19, 1939 in Budapest) is an Australian film director and screenwriter of Hungarian origin.

Life

Schultz was born in Budapest. In connection with the Hungarian uprising of 1956, he fled with his brother to the United Kingdom. He lived first in London and then in Manchester. 1958 emigrated to Australia Schultz. He first worked as a cameraman for the Australian transmitter Australian TV. He later became director of this station. From 1978, he started his career as a film director.
