Carla Gugino

Carla Gugino N. ( born August 29, 1971 in Sarasota, Florida ) is an American actress of Italian, British and Irish descent.

Life and career

Carla Gugino was born as the daughter of an Italian orthodontist and a British-Irish mother. Her parents divorced when Gugino was two years old. At five years old she moved with her mother to Paradise, California. During her childhood she had to repeatedly move within the state, however, was a good student throughout their high school years and was even allowed to give the closing address. A modeling agency discovered in San Diego and sent her with barely 15 years after New York City. However, Gugino returned to Los Angeles back, modeled there and visited on the advice of her aunt, actress Carol Merrill, an acting class.
