Carles Busquets

Carles Busquets Barroso ( born July 19, 1967 in Barcelona ) is a retired Spanish football goalkeeper and current goalkeeping coach of the second team of FC Barcelona.

He is the father of Sergio Busquets, who currently plays for FC Barcelona.

Career

A graduate of the Barcelona football academy Carles Busquets played his first professional game for FC Barcelona in the final of the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1990/91, the Barcelona 1:2 lost against Manchester United. In the following years he came only for the second team of FC Barcelona used because Andoni Zubizarreta had its place in the gate safely.
