Carlo Peroni

Carlo Peroni aka Perogatt (* November 24, 1929 in Senigallia, Province of Ancona, Italy, † 13 December, 2011 Guanzate, Italy ) was an Italian comic book artist and author.

Life and work

His artistic career began Peroni in 1946 as a painter and restorer larger paintings in religious buildings. For the Catholic weekly Il Giornalino he worked as an illustrator since 1948. For more Catholic weekly, he created the series Lillo, Lallo e Lello and signed it with the pseudonym Perogatt. Since the 1950s, Peroni is also in the film industry worked and worked well for the U.S. market, for which he created short films, as well as for RAI.
