Life and career

Carlo Vanzina, born in 1951 in Rome, is the son of film director and screenwriter Stefano Vanzina called Steno ( 1915-1988 ). Carlo Vanzina began his film career as an assistant director in 1970 with Mario Monicelli's comedy adventure Brancaleone on crusade to the Holy Land in the lead roles Vittorio Gassman and Adolfo Celi.

Since 1976, he directed from his own screenplay with Luna di miele in tre his first feature film. Since that time Vanzina has about 70 film and television productions serves as a director.
