Carlos Alvarado Lang

Carlos Alvarado Lang ( born January 14, 1905 in La Piedad de Cabadas, Michoacán, † September 3, 1961 in Mexico City) was a Mexican graphic artist of the 20th century.

Alvarado Lang studied from 1920 graphics at the National School of Fine Arts ( ENBA ) in Mexico City under Emiliano Valadez, whose chair he took over in 1929. After the trial offer of ENBA expanded in 1930 and the graphic classes were divided into three areas, Alvarado Lang taught at the ENBA metal printing process. From 1942 to 1949 he was director of the school.

After his death his work has been exhibited several times, including at the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado " La Esmeralda", the Museo de Arte Moderno and the Museum of the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
