Carlos Alzate

Carlos Eduardo Alzate Escobar ( born March 23, 1983 in Tulua ) is a Colombian track and road racing cyclist.

Carlos Alzate won in 2004 a stage in the Vuelta de la Juventud. A year later he was two stages at the International Cycling Classic decide for himself and in 2006 he was successful on a section of the Vuelta a El Salvador. Since 2007 Alzate riding for the Colombian Continental Team Colombia It Pasion. In his first season there, he won a stage at the Vuelta al Valle. On the railway Alzate was 2007 Pan champion in the One and the Team Pursuit.
