Carlos Humberto Paredes

Carlos Humberto Paredes Monge (* July 16, 1976 in Asunción ) is a Paraguayan football player. The midfielder is part of the squad of the Paraguayan national team at the 2006 World Cup. Currently, he plays for Olimpia Asuncion in Paraguay.

Clubs

Paredes began his career in his hometown with Olimpia Asunción, the most prestigious club in Paraguay. There he played a total of 5 seasons before he first joined the 2000/01 season abroad, for multiple Portuguese champions FC Porto. In Porto, he worked for two seasons in the starting eleven and was there in 2001 Portuguese Cup winner until he moved to the 2002/03 season to Reggina Calcio in the Italian Serie A. He belonged to the tribe formation and convinces through consistent and good. For the 2006/2007 season Paredes is again changed in the first Portuguese league for the capital club Sporting Lisbon.

National

Paredes was at the soccer World Cup 2002 squad for the Paraguay national team, but he came in two games for use.
