Carlos Villanueva (footballer)

Carlos Villanueva ( born February 5, 1986 in La Serena ) is a Chilean football player. Since summer 2009, the midfielder for Al Shabab played in the United Arab Emirates.

Carlos Villanueva began his career as a professional footballer in his hometown Deportes La Serna. In 2004, at the age of 18, he moved to Chile's top team Audax Italiano where he regulars and service providers within the team was fast.
