Carmen Binladin

Carmen bin Laden ( born November 22, 1947 in Geneva, as Carmen Dufour ) is a Swiss writer and former sister in law of Osama bin Laden.

Biography

Carmen bin Laden was the daughter of a Swiss ( Dufour ) and born in Switzerland of an Iranian ( Mirdoth / Sheybani ) and grew up there as well. In 1973 she met in Geneva Yeslam bin Laden, half brother of Osama bin Laden know, whom she married in 1974. They later went with her husband to Saudi Arabia and lived in Jeddah. In 1988 she separated from her husband. She has three daughters of Yeslam bin Laden: Wafah (* 1975, singer ), Najia (* 1978) and Noor (* 1987), now all live in the West. Her experience in Saudi Arabia with the bin Laden family, she described in her 2003 published book Torn Veil ( ISBN 3-426-77768-1 ).
