Carnago
Carnago ( in the local dialect Carnog ) is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6580 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Varese, in the Lombardy region. The community is located about 9.5 kilometers south of Varese in the Arno valley. Through the municipal area of the Tenore flows.
History
According to legend, the roots of the community will be around the year 585 as founded by the Lombard king Authari.
