Carol Kane

Carol Kane ( born June 18, 1952 in Cleveland as Carolyn Laurie Kane ) is an American actress.

Life

Kane grew up in New York City. She made her debut in the film Blood of the Iron Maiden from 1970, in which they took over one of the major roles. In the film Desperate people (1971 ) she starred opposite Shirley MacLaine to love in the film The Art (1971 ) alongside Jack Nicholson. In the movie Wedding in White ( 1972) she played alongside Donald Pleasence one of the main roles. For her starring role in the film Hester Street ( 1975) she was nominated for an Oscar. One of the major roles they played alongside Woody Allen and Diane Keaton in the film The City EUR Annie Hall (1977). From 1982 to 1983 she appeared in the television series Taxi, for which she twice won the Emmy Award and was nominated again for a Golden Globe Award.

A greater role was Kane in the comedy Jumpin 'Jack Flash (1986 ), in which she starred alongside Whoopi Goldberg. For her role of a fairy in the comedy The spirits that I called (1988 ), in which she appeared alongside Bill Murray, it received very good reviews.

Kane was also seen in the television series Man of Dreams (1990-1991) and Pearl ( 1996-1997).
