Carola Zirzow

Carola Zirzow ( born September 15, 1954 in Prenzlau ) is a former German canoeist.

Carola Zirzow competed for the SC Neubrandenburg, where she was coached by Horst Kautzke. In 1972, she was in the double kayak and in quad - kayak medalist at the Children 's and Youth, 1972 and 1974 DDR Champion with Ilse Kashub in two, from 1974 to 1976 in four. 1974 and 1975 she became world champion in four-man kayak, 1975 also with Bärbel Köster in two.
