Carolin Leonhardt

Carolin Leonhardt ( born November 22, 1984 in Lampertheim ) is a German canoeist, multiple world and European champion and Olympic champion.

Life

Leonhardt came in 1994 Canoeing. For the first time she drew attention to himself when she was 17 years old junior world champion four-man kayak about 500 m and in the double kayak over 1000 m.

The FIVB World Sportswoman of the WSV Mannheim- Sandhofen was at the Olympic Games in Athens in 2004, together with Birgit Fischer, Maike Nollen, Katrin Wagner and Olympic champion in four-man kayak about 500 m. Together with Birgit Fischer won in double kayak over 500 m also the silver medal.

In the spring of 2008, she failed to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing and should go again in four kayak at the start there. At the Olympic Games in 2012 Leonhardt reached in the German four-man kayak of women with Tina Dietze, Franziska Weber and Katrin Wagner -Augustin over 500 m silver medal.

Since January 2012, the Federal policewoman Carolin Leonhardt is in a relationship with the shot-putter David Storl.
