Carolina Barco

Carolina Barco Isakson ( born 1951 in Boston, Massachusetts ) is a Colombian politician and diplomat.

Barco was since the inauguration of President Álvaro Uribe in August 2002 Foreign Minister in the government. On 10 July 2006 she put her from office and replaced after Andrés Pastrana from as ambassador to the United States after this before the beginning of July in protest against the proposed appointment of his longtime political opponent Ernesto Samper to the post of Colombian ambassador in Paris from was his office resigned.
