Caroll Spinney

Caroll Spinney Edwin ( born December 26, 1933, Waltham, Massachusetts, United States), also known as Carroll Spinney or Ed Spinney, is an American puppeteer. He plays since 1969, the figures Oscar and Big Bird in the U.S. children's show Sesame Street ( the original Sesame Street).

Career

During his time in the U.S. Air Force wrote and drew Spinney Harvey, a comic strip about life in the military. Under the pseudonym " Ed Spinney " also he created the cartoon series Crazy Crayon.

In the 50s Spinney created the show Rascal Rabbit and worked in The Judy and Goggle show as a puppeteer of Goggle with.

In the 60s Spinney played in Bozo 's Big Top Mr. Lion. He has also appeared in several commercials.

Sesame Street
