Carolus Rex is the seventh studio album by the Swedish power metal band Sabaton. The Karl XII. designated by Sweden ( Carolus Rex ) album is about the Greatness of the country, beginning with Gustav Adolf, on the Thirty Years War to the death of Charles during the siege of Frederikshald and the subsequent descent of Sweden.

Production

It is published both in Swedish, as well as in the English version. It is also the last album on which the former band members Oskar Montelius, Rikard Sundén, Daniel Mullback and Daniel Myhr were involved.

Bassist and founding member Pär Sundström said about the album Carolus Rex: "It is by far the best album we 've made.
