Carolyn Sampson

Carolyn Sampson ( born May 18, 1974 in Bedford ) is an English soprano who specializes in historical performance practice. It occurs equally on opera and concert stages. Many roles she designed at the English National Opera (ENO ) in London.

Biography

Sampson studied music at Birmingham University. During her studies she sang in Birmingham Ex Cathedra Choir and won the Arnold Goldsborough Prize for outstanding performance of Baroque music.
