Carona, Ticino

Carona is a district of the city of Lugano, Lugano In Circle West, in the district of Lugano in the Swiss canton of Ticino. The place is below the Monte San Salvatore in an elevated position on the peninsula Ceresio that juts out between Agno and Lugano in Lugano. Until the incorporation in 2013 of the city formed a separate municipality.
