Carpal tunnel

The carpal tunnel ( carpal tunnel ) is a term used in medical anatomy and referred to a neuro-muscular passage at hand. As carpal tunnel, the passage on the palmar ( palm side) at the level of the wrist ( radiocarpal joint ) is considered. He is connected to the flexor retinaculum and forms a osteofibrous tunnel. It serves the tendons of the flexor muscles of the hand ( flexors ) and the median nerve ( the median nerve ) as a passage and guiding device.
