The mountain is climbed mostly from the north along Hag 's Glen and up the steep water-bearing Devil 's Ladder, special mountain equipment is not required. Sure-footedness and good hiking boots, however, are attached at the Devil's Ladder. A five -meter-high metal cross adorns the top.

In recent years, the ascent route has become dangerous due to loose stones and boulders. The weather conditions are changeable. When it rains or dense clouds a climb is dangerous because the Devil 's Ladder then can lead a lot of water and is extremely slippery. Because of incorrect equipment crash tourists occasionally fatal.
