The Trossenstek is a sailor's knot, which is used to link lines. It is used mostly for thicker ropes ( hawsers ), but also be exposed if linen heavy loads or getting wet.

The Trossenstek is considered very secure connection node. It can be solved relatively easily even after significant amount of stress and in the wet state. A node for the same scope is the Zeppelinstek, after heavy load can solve something even easier.
