Carrozzeria Scaglietti

The Carrozzeria Scaglietti was founded in 1951 by Sergio Scaglietti and was an Italian automobile design and coachbuilding operation for super sports cars, based in Maranello.

Scaglietti made ​​in the 50s and 60s, numerous aluminum bodies mainly for Ferrari. 1955 was also the film director Roberto Rossellini, the Spider- body of his Ferrari 375 Mille Miglia by Scaglietti converted to an exceptional coupe. The vehicle is now in the collection of the former Microsoft chief Jon Shirley. The Pininfarina -designed Ferrari 612 Scaglietti in 2004 was named in honor of Sergio Scagliettis with the suffix " Scaglietti ".
