Carrozzeria Scaglietti
The Carrozzeria Scaglietti was founded in 1951 by Sergio Scaglietti and was an Italian automobile design and coachbuilding operation for super sports cars, based in Maranello.
Scaglietti made in the 50s and 60s, numerous aluminum bodies mainly for Ferrari. 1955 was also the film director Roberto Rossellini, the Spider- body of his Ferrari 375 Mille Miglia by Scaglietti converted to an exceptional coupe. The vehicle is now in the collection of the former Microsoft chief Jon Shirley. Among other things, the vehicle was manufactured Scaglietti and the body of the BMW 3200 Michelotti Vignale, then assembled but at Vignale.
The Pininfarina -designed Ferrari 612 Scaglietti in 2004 was named in honor of Sergio Scagliettis with the suffix " Scaglietti ".
