Carsten Rothenbach

Carsten Roth Bach (born 3 September 1980 in Heidelberg ) is a German football player.

Career

By 1997, Roth Bach played for FC Dossenheim and the SV Schriesheim, From 1997 to 2006 he was at Karlsruher SC active. The 1.85 m tall defender played for KSC 101 games in the Second Bundesliga, in which he scored five goals. In the Regionalliga Süd, he was 52- times used, he made three goals.

For the season 2006/ 07 he moved to the Regionalliga Nord for FC St. Pauli, with which he ascended to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2007. In the 2007 /08 season he had as regulars share of the relegation of his team. End of November 2008 extended Rothenbachstraße his contract until June 2012. His Bundesliga debut Roth graduated from Bach 21 August 2010 in the away match against SC Freiburg, the FC St. Pauli won 3-1. He came in his first Bundesliga season on 13 missions. Due to a Patellasehnenverletzung he missed almost the entire second half. His end of the season 2011/12 expiring contract, he did not renew.
