Casanova (2005 film)

Casanova is an American romantic comedy from director Lasse Hallstrom from the year 2005. The film is loosely based on the life of Giacomo Casanova, who is represented by Heath Ledger.

Action

The film is set in 1753 in the Republic of Venice. Giacomo Casanova, the heartthrob of the city, spends most of his life in the beds of beautiful women and its reputation as a passionate seduction artist more than fair.
