Casatus (crater)

Casatus is an impact crater in the extreme south of the lunar front side, just south of the crater Klaproth, whose edge he partially covers. The rim is eroded, the interior up to the craters C mostly flat.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Italian Jesuit mathematicians and astronomers Paolo Casati.
