Cascade County is a county located in the state of Montana in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Great Falls.

According to the census of 2000, there were 80 357 people in the county. There were 32 547 households, and 21,448 families. The population density was 12 people per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 90.72 % White, 1.12 % African American, 4.22 % Native American, 0.81 % Asian, 0.08 % Pacific Islander residents from the and 0.68 % from other races groups; 2.36% were descended from two or more races. 2.43% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.

Of the 32 547 households out of which 32.20 % have children under the age of 18 living with them. 52.30 % were married couples living together, 9.90% had a female householder with no husband. 34.10 % were non-families. 28.80% of all households and 10.90 % had someone living alone at the age of 65 years or older. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size was 2.97.

Based on the county the population was spread out with 26.00 % under the age of 18, 9.10 % from 18 to 24, 28.10 % from 25 to 44 years, 22.80% between 45 and 64 years and 14.00% were 65 years old or older. The average age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 97.90 males, 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.70 males.
