Casey Cagle

Casey Cagle ( born January 12, 1966 at Hall County, Georgia ) is an American politician and since January 2007, the 11th Lieutenant Governor of the State of Georgia.

Casey Cagle visited the Gainesville College and studied at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro. In 1994 he was elected at the age of 28 years in the Senate of Georgia and worked as a Senator from 1995 to 2005. Cagle was elected on November 7, 2006 at the side of Governor Sonny Perdue for Lieutenant Governor of Georgia. He is the first Republican in the history of the Federal State exercising this office. Even under Perdue 's successor Nathan Deal, who took over the post of governor in January 2011, Cagle officiating continues as vice governor.

Cagle is married and has three sons.
