Casey Hankinson

Casey Hankinson ( born May 8, 1976 in Edina, Minnesota ) is a retired American professional ice hockey player who was active during his active career, among other things, for the Chicago Blackhawks and Mighty Ducks of Anaheim in the National Hockey League.

Career

Casey Hankinson began his career in high school at the Edina Hornets, for which he was active from 1992 to 1994. He then went to the University of Minnesota and played in the next four years in the Hockey Team of the Minnesota Golden Gophers in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. During this time, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 1985 in the eighth round in a total of 201 position of the Chicago Blackhawks. In the 1998/99 season he ran for the Portland Pirates in the American Hockey League on the ice and posted in 72 games a total of 23 points. After another year in a minor league, this time at the Cleveland Lumberjacks of the International Hockey League, graduated from the links gunman in the 2000 /01 season, his first few games for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League and scored in eleven games a scorer point. In the same season, the attacker was also in 75 games for the Norfolk Admirals in the AHL in use recorded while a total of 60 points scorer.

After two more years in which Hankinson stood regularly for the Norfolk Admirals on the ice, he was not offered the contract at the end of the season 2002/ 03. On 25 July 2003, the offensive player signed as a free agent with the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. In the 2003 /04 season he was in four NHL games for the Californians in use and remained no points. The majority of the season spent Hankinson at their farm team, the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks, in the American Hockey League and counted while the service providers. After his contract was not renewed in Anaheim, he signed on 7 October 2004 as a free agent with the HC La Chaux -de-Fonds, where he was active in the National League B and scored three points in four games. On 3 December 2004 Hankinson returned to the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks. Following that season, he ended his active career.

Since 2009 Hankinson works as a scout for the Anaheim Ducks.
