Casio Cassiopeia is a product series of handheld PCs the company Casio.

The Casio began quite early to go into the slowly growing market of PDAs, and developed initially small pocket computer with keyboard and grayscale display.

Was pretty quick to realize that the devices should be small. Thus, the PDAs of this series originated. ( It should be noted that the Japanese models differ in Type designation and appearance. E- 5x or E- 5xx are the Japanese versions, also they are blue instead of silver).

Cassiopeia E -15

The Cassiopeia E -15 was the last grayscale model, which brought out Casio. He appeared about the same time to the E -105, externally, the units were very similar. Together with the E-15 was launched in the colored series.

Successor models of the Cassiopeia E-200

Casio has decided due to the current difficult market situation PDA, first to bring a successor to the Cassiopeia E-200 on the European retail market, but currently only for the Japanese market. A recent example of this is the Cassiopeia E -3000 Pocket PC 2002 or DT -10 with Windows Mobile 2003, which were, however, designed exclusively for the Japanese market.

Other models

• A-23: as A-20 but without backlight and sound, but as a training package with additional mathematical programs such as Maple among others.
• BE-300: cheap Cassiopeia model 166Mhz MIPS with Windows CE 3.0 and Compact Flash, but only 16MB of RAM and only 32,768 colors
• E -55: Japanese version of the E-15
• E- 5xx: Japanese versions of the E -1xx models, externally identifiable by a blue case.
• EM -500: slimmer version of the E-125 (eg, without a CompactFlash - instead, with SDCard slot)
• EM- 505: slimmer version of the E-125 (eg, without a CompactFlash - probably also SD Slot)
• E -800: altered industrial version of the E-125
• SX -45: developed in collaboration with Siemens mobile phone based on the E -125 (100 % Compatible), although it was not built only for promotional purposes. A Siemens mobile phone was just grown back. Externally, this special model differs from a E-125 with its short antenna, top left, and by the enormous depth of housing by the attached Siemens mobile phone.
