Casma Province

Casma is one of 20 provinces which make up the Ancash region in Peru. It is bordered on the south by the province huarmey, on the east by the provinces of Huaraz and Yungay and to the north by the province of Santa. The provincial capital is the same place Casma.

In the 2262.86 km ² area in the year 2007 there were 42 368 people, which corresponds to a population density of 18,72 inhabitants per km ².
