Casorate Primo

Casorate Primo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 8489 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Pavia in Lombardy. The community is located about 17 kilometers northwest of Pavia and about 21 km southwest of Milan and directly borders the province of Milan. West of Casorate Primo of Ticino (Tessin ) flows through the Parco Lombardo Valle del Ticino

History

849 is given by Lothar I to the Bishop of Pavia Casorate ( Primo). The present name was given additional the community in 1863.

Southeast passes the Autostrada A7 (Genoa -Milan ) the municipality. The nearest motorway junction is located in Binasco.
