Casper de Vries

Casper de Vries ( born June 1, 1964 in Pretoria) is a South African comedian and actor.

Casper de Vries studied theater at the University of Stellenbosch and was during this time his first one-man shows. In the nineties, he met with a band on ( a close cooperation existed from 1992-97 with the musician and producer Andrew Roos ) and was also in the films Kwagga Strikes Back (1990 ), Sweet n ' Short ( 1991) and Soweto Green ( 1995) to see. In the following years de Vries, however, is mainly grown in his home by his satirical one-man shows one of the famous Afrikaans comedian. On his nationwide tour he led to programs in which he took the story of the Boers on the arm, including, for example, Jan van Riebeeck, the immigrant Huguenots, the Great Trek, the National Party and the Prime Minister asked of them with one.
