Cassadee Pope
Cassadee Pope ( born August 28, 1989 in West Palm Beach, Florida) is an American pop singer. She became known in 2012 as the winner of the third season of the talent show The Voice as well as a singer of the band Hey Monday.
Biography
Cassadee Pope is from Florida and started during school time with singing. Then she co-founded with guitarist Mike Gentile, the punk-pop band Hey Monday. The band made several publications and also had first minor chart success. The end of 2011, however, Pope put the band on hold to it as a solo artist to try. A first solo EP reached number 25 of the Heatseeker charts in the spring.
Then she applied for the third edition of the talent show The Voice in the fall of 2012 and was one of only four participants, the interest of all four coaches took place at the blind auditions. She came by the sovereign Rounds and with their third live performance with the song Over You by Miranda Lambert she was so convincing that the song then came in at number one in the iTunes charts. Then also any other show of its contribution reached the Top 10 of the download charts. Four songs were also in the official singles chart. They reached the final on 18 December, and sat down there as well through against the competitors and won.
Cassadee Pope had sung in the show, some of country songs, partly because they had been in the team of country singer Blake Shelton. After the show the success it also signed the Country label Republic Nashville, and prepared her first solo album. Frame by Frame was released in the fall of 2013, and sat at number one on the U.S. country charts. In the official sales charts it peaked at number nine.
