Cassidian

Cassidian ( to 17 September 2010 as EADS Defence & Security) was until January 2014, the defense and security division ( Division ) of the EADS Group. It was a leader in global security solutions, system integration and air, land, sea and connecting systems. The Cassidian headquarters was in Unterschleissheim, Germany.

History

Stefan Zoller had led the defense and security division of EADS since 2005. As of September 3, 2012 was appointed Bernhard Gerwert as Chief Executive Officer ( CEO) of Cassidian and a member of the EADS Executive Board ( Executive Committee of EADS ).

On 1 January 2014, EADS Divisions Airbus Military, Astrium and Cassidian have been merged to Airbus Defence and Space.
