Cassius Duran

Cassius Ricardo Duran ( born May 31, 1979 in São Paulo ) is a former Brazilian diver. He started in both the art of jumping from 1 m and 3 m- board and in the 10-meter platform diving as well as in the 3-meter and 10-meter synchronized diving.

Duran took part in three Olympic Games. In Sydney in 2000 he reached the 3 m board the semi-finals and finished 14th, from 10 m tower he was ranked 28th in 2004 in Athens and 2008 in Beijing, he stepped m- high diving each in 10, but resigned twice in 24th from the preliminaries.

His best position at the World Swimming Championships he reached in Montreal in 2005. With César Castro he was m- 3 eighth in synchronized diving. His biggest success Duran at the Pan American Games in Santo Domingo in 2003. He won the silver medal in platform diving.

After the 2008 Olympics, he ended his active career.
