Castanheira do Ribatejo is a Portuguese town ( Vila ) in the district of Vila Franca de Xira in the District of Lisbon. The 7505 population of community (as at 30 June 2011) is located in the metropolitan area of ​​the Portuguese capital, Lisbon, and has the advantageous geographical location of numerous camps and depots for freight.
