Castel di Lucio
Castel di Lucio is a city in the province of Messina in the Italian region Sicily, with 1347 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012).
Location and data
Castel di Lucio is located 159 km west of Messina in the western Nebrodes. The inhabitants work mainly in agriculture, crafts and food production.
The neighboring municipalities are Geraci Siculo (PA ), Mistretta, Nicosia (EN), Pettineo and San Mauro Castel Verde ( PA).
History
The Year of the place is unknown. By the end of the 18th century the city was part of the fief of Mistretta.
