Castelli, Abruzzo
Castelli is a municipality with 1207 inhabitants and is located near Isola del Gran Sasso d' Italia and Colledara in the Italian province of Teramo. The community Castelli is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The town is a member of the Comunità Montana Gran Sasso.
Geography
Among the districts ( fractions) are Befaro, Colledoro, Palombara, Santa Maria della Neve and Villa Rossi.
Borders the following municipalities: Arsita, Bisenti, Calascio, Castel Castagna, Castel del Monte and Isola del Gran Sasso d' Italia.
The municipality is situated approximately 40 km from the capital of the province, the city of Teramo and 50 km from the Adriatic coast.
