Castenedolo

Castenedolo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 11,376 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The community is located about 9 kilometers southeast of Brescia. Near the village flows the Garza.

Economy and Transport

The former compound of the Regional tramway from Brescia to Mantova held until 1952 in Castenedolo. Today, the village is crossed by the former State Road 236 Goitese, now only provincial highway, the North -South direction and connection to the A4 motorway from Turin to Venice and Trieste, to the Strada Statale 11 Padana Superiore. Less than 4 km from the airport is located Castenedolo Brescia - Montichiari.
